Motel Trinity

I stay here multiple times every year. I give it 5 stars because it's not a high end motel. So don't expect that. Expect Nice clean rooms. Modest cozy . Not sure about some of the bad reviews I have never had (a) bed bugs (b) dirty sheets (c) bad service. Sanjay and moana are extremely nice people and I will continue to stay here. All my fishing buddies will tell the same story. For a very reasonably priced motel this place is rad. If you want higher end go stay at one of those fly fishing lodges and eat your 5 star meal, relax in your ascot and slippers, and smoke your sherlock holmes pipe!

I'm not sure what I expected but Motel Trinity was a pleasant surprise. Yes, it's dated but it's also super cozy. The room had a microwave, coffee maker, and a fridge. The bed was comfy, and the staff (owner?) didn't mad dog us when we woke her up to check in at 2am. She didn't even screw us on the price and I think $60 is a great deal for a motel in BFE at 0 dark thirty when your ride into town is a Tow truck....(awesome review on Alps to be posted shortly!). Moral of the story: You get what you pay for and this is on the nicer end for a $60 room. OH! Go to Suzie's Bakery if you stay here-it's right next door and sooooo good.

Great place well kept staff is top of the line people. Very clean . Small hotel in the beautiful mountains of Trinity . Quite and enjoyable and they have nice green grass and a barbecue made of stone that was very nice to cook my. Steaks on and the pull was def bleached clean not a single bug. Number 1 place in Trinity. Thanks for a great stay.

I was a little skeptical when we stayed here because some people on the reviews were saying that they're blankets and towels are dirty and they wouldn't wish this place on their worst enemy...but I have to say that our room was awesome!!!! Our blankets we're good and our towels we're clean and for a really really cheap room, we had a mini fridge, microwave and a coffee maker with coffee, creamer and sugar. Also cable and internet was great! I've been to motel 6s that costed me double for less!!!! And yes, when you walk in to your room it does smell like old wood but that's because this place is old but it's clean and has great amenities :) I just think those people were really high maintenance and is use to more updated and fancier motels. If that's what you're looking for then don't come here. But if you're looking for a comfortable place to lay your head down in a comfortable, plush bed and watch some TV, then come here! Plus the people that work her are very accommodating as well and is pet friendly, no pet deposit! :)

I always enjoy my stays here. Ramona is the best, very efficient and helpful. The rooms are always clean and I love the old time feel. The grounds are always neat and clean. The price is definitely right for Weaverville.

A true by-owner motel that has all the comforts including a great ice machine, microwave, fridge and comfortable beds. There is a patio with chairs and tables for alfresco dining or an evening conversation. A good stop in the middle of nowhere.

I read other reviews and they weren't all good. So I was not expecting much. But the room we got was plenty big, clean and quiet. I think most of the bad reviews are from folks that had stayed in the little rooms up front. If you can, get a room towards the back.

Quiet, private and relatively cheap. The managers were very friendly. The rooms are less than modern and could of been a bit cleaner. Overall, things were fine and ill be headed back.
